Access to health care has changed dramatically due to the COVID 19 pandemic. There are several new ways you can access health advice from the team here at Marsh House Medical Practice
You can now access the E-Consult service via the link further down the home page. This allows you to submit a query online for review by the GP, Nurse or Admin Team who will aim to respond to you within 48 hours.
Telephone appointments are available for booking with the GP and Nursing Team. These can be arranged via reception on 01642 561282.
In some cases, we may ask you to take part in a video consultation with the GP via your smartphone.
If the GP feels you need to be reviewed in person, you will be given instructions on when and how to attend for an appointment at the surgery. Please do not attend any appointment if you or a member of your household are displaying symptoms of COVID-19. For further information on COVID-19 symptoms please visit https://111.nhs.uk/covid-19.
Repeat prescriptions are best ordered online via patient access. You can find more information regarding this using the prescriptions and online service links above.

Covid Boosters - If your booster is due please do not call the surgery, we are working our way through patient lists in accordance with vaccine due date, Vaccine deliveries and clinic availability as quickly as we can.
Phone Lines -
We are aware our Phone lines are extremely busy at the moment. We understand your frustrations and are trying to implement new systems to alleviate this. If your call is non - Urgent please call after 2pm when phone lines are quieter.
If you cannot get through and need to seek advice urgently please dial 111 or 999 as appropriate.
Flu Vaccines -
We now have Flu vaccines and Fluenz Nasal Spray for eligable patients.

Health Promotion Campaigns
Looking after our Mental Health is very important.
Ways to do this include getting a good nights sleep, excersising regularly, eating and drinking healthily and taking time to do things we enjoy wether that be reading, knitting, socialising or having a soak in the bath.
There are many options available if you feel you are struggling with your mental health. You can talk to a friend or relative about how you are feeling.
